Dollhouse (2025)

Synopsis:

Suzuki Yoshie and her husband, Tadahiko, lost their 5-year-old daughter, Mei. Grief-stricken, Yoshie finds a charming doll at an antique market that looks just like Mei and begins to care for it, gradually regaining her strength. When Yoshie and Tadahiko have a new daughter, Mai, they stop paying attention to the doll. However, as Mai grows to be 5 years old, she begins to play with the doll, and strange events start happening to the family one after another. Yoshie and Tadahiko try to get rid of the doll, but no matter how much they discard it or send it for memorial services, the doll always returns for some mysterious reason. What secrets are hidden in the doll? And what shocking truth will be uncovered?
